ll Lithuanian artists living in the USA are invited to apply to the Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show 2013. As you may have heard, there are 24 artists who will be coming from Lithuania to participate in the Craft Show which will take place November 7-10, 2013. Lithuanian artists who live in America may also participate, but they need to apply through this route: http://pmacraftshow.org/application/

The Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show receives over one thousand applications and selects only 200 artists from America. Lithuanian artists’ works are strong and of a very high quality, so we should be able to compete successfully. It would be great if we could have a larger group of Lithuanians represented in the show.

The application needs to be submitted by April 1, so if you are interested in participating, please do not dally, but prepare your application and necessary photographs ASAP. The categories of art work exhibited at the Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show include: basketry, ceramics, fiber, furniture (includes all media), glass, jewelry, leather, metal, mixed media, hand made paper, wearables and wood.

If you have questions, please see http://pmacraftshow.org/application/ where you will find detailed information, or contact Honorary Consul Krista Bard: bard@kristabard.com.
