On the cover:
The illustration comes from the front cover of Tremtinio Lietuva (The Lithuania of the Deportees) edited by Juozas Laurušas and illustrated by Romas Orentas in 1990. This poetry collection contains the work of many Siberian deportees’ writings — forever memorializing the little-known, tragic historical fact of the June deportations.
