First Lithuanian Language Proficiency Test is being held across the USA

Over the past weekend the Lithuanian Language Proficiency/Levels A1-A2-B1 Test for Juniors (born in 2002 and older) was held in six USA locations (two more will be held in April, for more info please check https://www.facebook.com/javlb.svietimotaryba/photos/a.448953365165678.102693.445086145552400/1071242449603430/?type=3&theater.

The test was held at the Lithuanian Alliance of America/SLA in NYC on Sunday, April 17th. The test, initiated by the Kazickas Family Foundation and sponsored by the Ministry of Education and Science of LT, was created by the University of Vilnius and was taken by 17 young people from NY, NJ and PA. Honorable Julius Pranevicius, Consul General of Lithuania to NY, made an inspirational speech congratulating the participants of the first of the kind test in Lithuania’s History. Neila Baumilienė, director of the Kazickas Family Foundation NY office, invited everyone to become ambassadors of the Lithuanian language.
